The Cardinal Group has expanded our in-house engineering expertise to partner with our customers on new and existing product and projects. This approach has enabled us to materially contribute to new and existing product and technology development and has, in turn, positioned us for unprecedented growth as we have become the valued technical resource our customers need from the infancy stages of development throughout the life of the program.

 

New Product: Through early engagement partnering, we bring value engineering ideas to develop best practice methods. This consultative approach ensures long-term process stability at the lowest possible cost given the application parameters and requirements. To assure the validity of these best practice methods, prototypes are manufactured using the same process/tooling intended for production volumes. Our early engagement partnering efforts have resulted in multiple OEM business awards involving new technology that improves fuel economy by 30%!

 

Existing Product: The Cardinal Group’s engineering team partnered up with another customer to solve a warranty issue on existing product. Through a joint engineering effort, The Cardinal Group re-designed a process that resulted in $3 million annual cost savings in warranty recovery, which has been sustained for 3 years, and counting!
